Between the months of September 2014 and May 2015 I entered into contract with these guys to manage and advise on accounting and tax filings. During much of that time, Oren Adler, through the support of his employer, Gideon Adler & Co., Purposefully, and in bad faith, misrepresented himself as a competent, licensed New Jersey CPA. It was only after realizing on April 15th 2015 that, after he'd failed to properly prepare and submit my taxes, I was compelled to verify his licensed status with the New Jersey's Division of Consumer Affairs. To my distress and shock, I learned that not only had his license been terminated, it had been so since 12/31/2014. His outrageous costly accounting errors combined with the fact he was not a licensed NJ CPA, resulted in personal and company losses of tens of thousands of dollars. I've been in close contact with our attorneys and agreed it best to first file an official complaint with the Division of Consumer Affairs before exploring whatever legal recourse might be available. An investigation is presently underway. From the months of January 1, 2015 and May 25th, 2015 (maybe longer), Oren Adler represented himself as a licensed NJ CPA while his license was, in fact, 100% terminated. I now realize the reason my taxes couldn't be filed on time was because Oren Adler was not a certified licensed CPA and wasn't able to. I've uploaded a few screenshot images in the company profile that are pretty much self explanatory and, if this review helps prevent even a single person from being duped by their misleading business practices, I'll consider it a silver lining in our terrible experience working with them.
