Mr. Carranza was paid for 10 hrs of work ($2950) under a retainer upon accepting my case to submit an amended tax return. After waiting 10 months and countless excuses for delay, I requested my money be returned, as he had done nothing. I met with a different local CPA, who then completed the service. I have not received an explanation from Mr Carranza, for his prolonged delay and inaction. Today a conciliation court ruled in favor of my case, holding Mr.Carranza liable for all charges and filing fees associated. Buyer Beware definitely applies to his service!!
