I want to file my taxes in California. Am I automatically eligible for no penalty due date of October 15?
I’m under the impression that I was granted a 6 month extension on filing 2022 taxes due to natural disaster ( wild fires) - I never filled out any paperwork asking for an extension, I wanted to file my taxes and request a payment plan for any owed taxes. I went to file my taxes last night on e-file.com and they said I owed a payment and it was already late. Is there any advice you can provide ?
