Will my brother need to file taxes if he ended the year incarcerated
My brother worked Jan-Aug 2022. He was arrested Aug 2022 and has been in jail since. He got divorced in oct 2022. We just found out his ex wife did not file his taxes for 2022. With him being incarcerated does he have to file taxes for 2022 at all? Or do we need to tract down his 2022 w2 and file for him and pay any taxes owed and penalties that have incurred for not filing on time? We live in Oklahoma
