I own the business next to this business and I had them do my tax returns in 2022 and 2023 and they messed them up so badly that I ended up paying over $7500 more to the federal government than I should have. I referred a friend to them and they messed up their tax returns as well. I'm getting a refund of over $3000 after I refiled the 2023 return, I had to pay my new accountant for this service and yet Ushijima still refused to refund the fee they charged to file a completely screwed up tax return even though it was refiled and I'm getting a refund of over $3000. Unfortunately, the 2022 return could not be refiled because the deadline passed. That one I paid $4432 more than I should have because of their silly mistakes and their general apathetic attitude and the email they sent says "we disagree with your actions" and "we stand by the work we did" and they blame me for the errors. This is how they treat their next door neighbor. I plan to sue them for accounting malpractice for the damages they caused me. Keep your tax returns far, far away from this place.
