Avoid at All Costs!
I’ve been using Gary for my taxes for over four years, and after the first year, it’s been nothing but frustration. Reaching him is nearly impossible—calls, emails, even messages go unanswered, and when he does respond, he deflects and gaslights, often avoiding straightforward questions about my taxes.
The last straw was this past year. I made it very clear to Gary that I did not want an extension, yet he went ahead and filed one anyway. Despite telling him he had two months to submit the paperwork, it took him nine months—nine months of me constantly calling, only for him to dodge my calls. I had to resort to calling from a different phone number just to get him to answer.
Now, I’m dealing with multiple notices from the IRS and state tax authorities due to serious errors in my filings. When I reached out to Gary to address these issues, his response was dismissive, basically saying, “I don’t know why you got that.”
Gary does not have his clients’ best interests at heart. His negligence has cost me time, money, and immense stress. If you value your finances and peace of mind, find someone else—he will only make things worse.
