Wayland began his public accounting career in 1993 and during the past 8 years has been responsible for compilation and write-up of financial statements, tax return preparation including corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual taxation, and financial audits for non profit organizations including Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recipients, audits of school districts and local governmental entities. Ranjana Batra, CPA, Senior Account graduated from Osmania University, India in 1985 with a Master of Commerce degree, with a major in Accounting. Ranjana began her accounting career in 1990 in India in the leasing industry, then moved into the securities industry. During this time she was responsible for general ledger accounting and preparing financial statements. Prior to coming to the US, Ranjana was director in a stock broking firm and was responsible for financial planning and management. Manasa L. Cooper, Staff Accountant graduated from UNC-Wilmington in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She began her accounting career in 1990 as a finance officer for a municipality. Manasa has worked in all areas of accounting, from bookkeeping to financial statement preparation and cash management. She has experience in multi-unit businesses and in various industries such as retail(convenience stores), health care(dental management corporation) and management consulting. She also graduated from Durham Technical Community College, Durham, North Carolina in August 1989 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration.
