Terrible experience!! I only used this accountant for two years because I incurred significant federal and state penalties. He told me that I did not owe any taxes at year end. Then I received late notices and penalties from the IRS and state that my last quarter taxes were not paid. He claims he did tell me. I have nothing in writing confirming such. He would not take responsibility for the penalties, which were, especially from the state, significant, tens of thousands of dollars, for that one year. I have never had a federal or state late payment or penalty in the 18 years in Virginia until working with Mr. Heath.
