About Leonard A. Podolin
After a 38-year career at Arthur Andersen (23 years serving a wide variety of clients in Philadelphia, 15 in charge of Tax Quality Assurance and Standards for the entire firm, based in Chicago), I have retired and made a second career as an Expert Witness in tax matters, with emphasis on alleged malpractice cases. I have served as Chair of the Responsibilities in Tax Practice Committee and the Tax Executive Committee of the AICPA, and was the recipient of the Arthur Dixon Memorial Award. I have been on the IRS Commissioner's Advisory Group, and have also been a Trustee and President of the American Tax Policy Institute.
