About Stanley A. Stempler
Stan received his BA (graduating Phi Beta Kappa) from Rutgers College and his MBA from Rutgers Business School. After spending several years working for Big 4 and local CPA firms as an auditor (and becoming a CPA in the process) he made a career change to Human Resources. During his 20+ year career in HR, Stan hired hundreds of accountants, auditors and tax professionals while serving as the Director of Human Resources for Anchin Block & Anchin LLP (a 200-person NYC firm), Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP (a 200-person firm based in Garden City, Long Island) and J.H. Cohn LLP (a New Jersey-based 1,000+ person firm that is the largest independent accounting firm in the Northeast). Since becoming an Executive Recruiter Stan has used the skills he learned during those years to place accounting professionals throughout the New York Metropolitan area, the Northeast and the U.S. He has a great reputation with both applicants and employers and is an extremely ethical recruiter who has tremendous contacts and consequently has helped scores of professionals find new positions in public accounting.
