Mr Foster prepared my 2014 Tax Return. In 2015 while using TurboTax, I found that he has missed a major routine deduction that cost me thousands in taxes and penalties. When I contacted him to help me file an amended return, he told me I would need to pay again for the tax return, pay for tax advisor services, or do it my self. I feel this is very negligent, unethical behavior. DO NOT USE THIS MAN FOR ANY FINANCIAL SERVICES

I am expressing my opinion regarding Mr. Foster who failed to file our extension in a timely manner and caused my business to be penalized $2,340 for the 2015 tax year. We are a small business and Mr. Fosters charges for service were unfounded. He performed little to no work and in the end was more concerned about being paid than doing his job. Brian K Foster is not a very good tax preparer as well as my personal accountant found several errors in our partnership return as well. His work lacks detail to attention and he does not communicate well. I would strongly suggest that you avoid doing business with him. He is not a trustworthy professional and his advice is boiler plate and inaccurate. He has left my company in a worse position than it was before he became involved. I plan on reviewing and sharing my experience on every forum possible. I have very little recourse with the IRS in a timely manner which would put me deeper in the hole that Mr. Foster dug for me and my partners. He has created a mess and left us to deal with it. His attitude regarding this has been cavalier, dismissive and professionally offensive. If you are looking for a reliable tax professional that is trustworthy, prompt, and knowledgeable then choose anyone BUT Brian K Foster. He is not someone that is worth your time and effort.
