Keith M. Behrens

Van Duyne, Behrens & Co., P.A. has offices in Pine Brook and Red Bank, New Jersey. The firm provides accounting services, including consulting, business management, auditing, estate planning and tax preparation for individuals, businesses and not for profit entities. The firm's most notable music clients include: Kiss, The Rascals, 3 Doors Down, Dave Matthews, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Nikki Yanofsky, John Mayer, Natalie Merchant, OAR, Medeski Martin & Wood, and Liz Phair, to name a few.Their client list also includes over a hundred professional athletes. KEITH BEHRENS - Principal Keith joined the firm as a principal in 1999. With more than 20 years of tax experience, Keith specializes in corporate, partnership and individual income tax issues. He serves as principal in charge of tax services and spearheads tax planning matters on behalf of the firm's clients. Throughout his career, Keith has represented clients in tax audits before the Internal Revenue Service, the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, and other state and local taxing authorities. He also serves on the finance committee of St. Rose of Lima Church and The Family Resource Network. Keith earned his B.S. in Accounting from DeSales University and went on to earn his M.S. in Taxation from Long Island University. He is also an Adjunct Professor teaching taxation at Fairleigh Dickenson University. Keith is a licensed CPA in New Jersey and New York, and an a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
